Whether you are visiting for the first time, or returning as one of our regular guests, thank you for choosing to stay at West End Central Apartments. We take pride in offering you a friendly and efficient service, accommodation at reasonable prices and the things you need for a comfortable stay. Please take a moment to familiarise yourself with the facilities and services. If anything is not as you would expect, please contact Reception.

Access to the building outside reception hours is via the Main Doors using the building access card provided at check-in. To avoid being charged a call-out fee of $65.00 for any after-hours call out, please remember to take your key and access
card with you when you leave the apartment.

Check-out is 10am. Please return your keys to reception. If you are departing before reception opens, we ask that you settle you account the day before departure and place your key in the after-hours return slot in the reception door.

Power outlets have a current of 240v with a frequency of 50Hz. Adaptors may be available for use from reception. Please note, a refundable deposit may be required.

Please close all windows and doors in your apartment to ensure the efficient and effective use. The recommended temperature setting for maximum comfort is 23-24°C.

A designated barbeque area is located beside the outdoor swimming pool. Bookings can be made at reception. Please consider other guests by leaving the area clean and tidy when you leave.

Parking for 1 car is provided with each booking. A parking permit and instructions for access and use will be provided at check-in.
Please be aware: guests assume full liability for their vehicle and belongings throughout their stay.

Baby cots and high chairs are available for hire from reception. An extra charge applies.

EFTPos, cash and all major credit cards are accepted for payment. Please note, a credit card transaction fee applies and cheques are not accepted.

The dishwasher installed in 1 and 2 Bedroom apartments will only operate once the power in the apartment has been activated. A powder sachet is provided with each daily service and can be found under the kitchen sink. Place the powder in the compartment, select the cycle, then press the ON/OFF and START buttons.

In order to conserve energy, most apartments are fitted with a power saving device located on the wall next to the front door. Once inside the room, please ensure there is a plastic card in the slot to activate the power.

Wireless broadband is available in your room and a complementary data allowance is provided with each booking. Simply connect to the West End Central Hotspot hotspot, open a browser page and enter the username and password displayed on the voucher supplied at check-in. Access will continue until the data limit or duration of the voucher expire. Additional data can be purchased from reception. IF LOGIN SCREEN DOESN’T SHOW ENTER INTO YOUR BROWSER.

The mini gym located on Level 1 is available for use during reception hours. Please collect the key from reception.

Your room is serviced daily with the exception of some Public Holidays when a limited service is available.

Daily service includes emptying the rubbish, replacing towels left on the floor, making the bed and spot vacuum if necessary, but does not include, cleaning kitchen utensils, cups, plates, etc. A regular change of linen is included for stays longer than 7 days.

Please be aware: housekeeping will not enter your room if the DO NOT DISTURB sign is hung on the outside of the door.

Most apartments are fitted with an insinkerator which can be used for soft refuse only. To use, have cold water running and turn on the switch to the left of the sink.

An iron and ironing board are located in the wardrobe for your use.

A washing machine and dryer are installed in 1 and 2 Bedroom apartments and a laundry powder sachet is supplied with each daily service for your convenience.
Guests staying in a Studio are welcome to use the guest laundry located on Level 1.

To use the washing machine: Select the water level and temperature, turn the knob to the selected washing cycle and pull out.

To use the dryer: Select the desired drying temperature and time. Please close the door to the laundry area to avoid the dryer activating the smoke detectors.

A drycleaning service is also available for same day return items must be with reception by 8am. Charges will be made direct to your account.

Please be advised: Hanging clothes or towels on balcony railings is not permitted.

Linen and bath towels provided.


Mini-bar items are provided for your enjoyment. Please remember to declare mini-bar items consumed at check-out using the form provided.

The oven and hotplate will only operate once the power in the apartment has been activated.
Oven: Use the middle knob to select either OVEN, FAN BAKE or GRILL, select the cooking time using the knob on the left and temperature using the knob on the right
Rangehood: Pull out the glide panel, and use the switches on the right hand side under the panel to operate light and fan speed.

Any rubbish will be removed from your apartment during the daily service. You are welcome to use the garbage shute located on each floor behind the door labelled ‘REFUSE’. Please do not drop bottles or other glass items down the garbage shute and we ask that you do not drop cigarette butts or other items from balconies.

We are not liable for loss or damage to personal valuables. We recommend that guests take advantage of the complimentary safety deposit boxes provided at reception.

All our apartments are smoke free. Smoking is NOT PERMITTED in rooms. Smoking is only permitted on balconies with the doors closed using the ashtray provided.

A highly effective fire system is in place to assist us ensure your personal safety. Please ensure that ALL bedroom doors are closed and the rangehood is used while cooking to ensure the detectors are not activated. If activated, the alarm will sound and notify management. If you accidentally activate the alarm, please contact reception immediately. Please note, if the Fire Brigade responds to an alarm, you will be responsible for any fee incurred.

The outdoor pool and sauna are located on the ground level. These facilities are available for the exclusive use of residents and guests between the hours of 7am – 9pm Mon – Fri and 8am – 8pm Sat – Sun. The sauna is activated by the power switch on the wall and takes approx 10 min to heat. The pool is not heated.

Local calls incur a standard charge. National, interstate, mobile and international calls are charged according to time and distance.

To operate the TV: press the power button on the TV set and/or TV remote for some models. Use remote to change channels and adjust volume.
